This is SO great! “Check out” all the beautiful artists books!
Hey students, excited to share that I have an installation of new work being exhibited in the Cultural Council 2021 Biennial. This is a prestigious exhibit showcasing 30 artists. I’ll post again once it gets closer, but put it on your calendar! After a year of not so many art events, this is exciting. The exhibit runs from March 26- May 28 – so you have plenty of time to see it, and view it safely.

David Driskoll was an important professor, artist and curator. I’m looking forward to watching this HBO documentary on the important, but underrepresented role of Black Artists on our culture. “Black Artists: In the Absense of Light.” It features some of my personal favorites, Kara Walker, Kehinde Wiley, Amy Sherald and Faith Ringgold and more. See the original article here.
This is not only a beautifully designed animation, but a great reminder to go outside and enjoy the fresh air – in the moment!
