Inspired…

Went to the Norton Museum with my Art Appreciation classes and was blown AWAY by not only the Women Modernist exhibit, but especially by an emerging artist, Njideka Akunyili Crosby. 

Using xerox transfers, painted patterns and historical images, her large scale works were all consuming… they certainly achieved the goals of the title of the exhibit, “I Refuse to be Invisible” to me.

The exhibit is up for for about two more weeks – GO!
