This weekend I jetted up to Boston, where we went to one of my favorite new museums, the Institute for Contemporary Art, Boston.
Saw a fantastic wall installation piece by Swoon as well as a cut-paper sculptural piece that hung next to the glass elevator – allowing viewers to peer in while going upstairs.
Other exhibits included furniture design by Roy McMakin and paintings by Charline von Heyl.
Architecturally, the ICA is amazing… a modern glass structure jetting out on the Boston Harbor. They even have a glass video room, where you feel enveloped in the water. . . a perfect place to put on headphones and watch some art videos.
Put this on your list if you are ever visiting Boston!
