Hey there.. Two posts this week!

In case you missed me telling you – we’re having our first gallery opening tomorrow, Thursday, Sept. 8 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Gallery. (downstairs HU Bldg.) If you are interested in comic books, drawing or other related arts, be sure to stop by the opening to see the work of local artist, Carlos Castellanos. The artist will be at the opening to answer any questions you have about drawing, animation and even how to become a professional artist!

Speaking of Hispanic Heritage Month (Sep. 15 – Oct. 15)… Check out this link to historic bookplate design from Cuba. Some of them are typographically and compositionally really interesting.
